Abstract

Diyabet bakımı, diyabetlinin öz bakım sorumluluğu kazanması ve diyabet bakım ekibi tarafından diyabet öz yönetiminin desteklenmesini gerektiren bir süreçtir. Diyabet gibi kronik hastalıkların yönetiminde ortak yaklaşım hastaların öz yönetim becerilerinin geliştirilmesi ve diyabet öz yönetim desteğiyle güçlendirilmesidir. Sağlık koçluğu ise sağlıklı davranış değişimini desteklemeye yönelik artan ihtiyaçla birlikte öz yönetimi güçlendirmek amacıyla; kanıta dayalı davranış değişim stratejileri ve motivasyonel görüşmeye dayalı teknikleriyle, sağlık profesyonellerini destekleyen bir meslek olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu derlemenin amacı diyabet öz yönetim desteğinde sağlık koçluğunun önemini kanıta dayalı tıp verileri ışığında incelemektir.

Abstract

Diabetes care is a process that requires the diabetic to gain self-care responsibility and support diabetes self-management by the diabetes care team. The common approach in the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes is to develop patients self-management skills and to strengthen them with diabetes self-management support. Health coaching, on the other hand, in order to strengthen self-management with the increasing need to support healthy behavior change; It has emerged as a profession that supports health professionals with evidence-based behavior change strategies and motivational interview-based techniques. The purpose of this review is to examine the importance for health coaching in diabetes self-management support in the light of evidence-based medicine data.
